Canary Wharf Group hires FTI Consulting for diversified corporate communications brief
Canary Wharf Group plc (‘Canary Wharf Group’), the developer and owner of the iconic Canary Wharf business and shopping district in central London, has expanded its corporate communications efforts with the appointment this week of FTI Consulting.
The property group has given FTI Consulting the brief to support its marketing and positioning as it grows and diversifies its tenant base at Canary Wharf, and increasingly works on landmark development projects elsewhere in central London.
Among the target audiences for the campaign are the global technology, media and telecommunications sectors as well as key world markets including India, the Asia-Pacific and Gulf regions.

Danaher will head FTI’s Canary Wharf team, while Managing Director Dominic Morgan and Vice President Brian Wendel will direct the corporate and digital media elements of the programme respectively.
FTI Consulting will work alongside Canary Wharf Group’s existing agencies Brunswick, which provides financial communications, and The Communication Group plc, which handles consumer PR, including promoting Canary Wharf’s world-class public arts and events programme and more than 200 shops, bars and restaurants.

Morgan (1.9m sq. ft) and Wood Wharf Partnership, a 4.6m square feet joint venture development adjacent to Canary Wharf in which Canary Wharf Group recently purchased 100% share. It is currently working on 20 Fenchurch Street in the City of London in a joint venture with Land Securities; the Shell Centre on London’s South Bank in a joint venture with Qatari Diar; 25 Churchill Place and the Canary Wharf Crossrail Station.
