Canary Wharf is celebrating Christmas with an array of festive activities and treats that the whole family can enjoy. Running every weekend in December and every day from 21 – 24 December, Canary Wharf is the perfect family spot for a family seasonal outing.
Christmas can be an expensive time of year, but to keep the kids entertained there is a selection of free activities taking place across Canary Wharf, including a visit to Santa’s magical grotto. Across the shopping areas, children are invited to show their creativity by decorating festive head boppers and Christmas cupcakes. They can also have their face painted with a selection of colourful and seasonal designs, such as snowmen, gingerbread men and even Rudolph.
With its iconic backdrop and London’s only skate path, Ice Rink Canary Wharf is, this year, celebrating one of the area’s most famous residents, Sammy the Seal. Visitors to the ice rink are invited to try out the world’s first ‘Sealfie’ wall, an interactive board that transforms skaters into Sammy the Seal. They have also introduced child-friendly seal skate aids, new for 2015.
Families can also enjoy Santa’s Magical Toy Factory; a Christmas family show with classic festive songs in Canary Wharf’s East Wintergarden.
