Response to Coronavirus – COVID 19

The health and safety of those that work, visit and live in Canary Wharf is of paramount importance to us, therefore visitors to Canary Wharf are asked to observe all the measures set out within these restrictions such as wearing face coverings when inside our shopping malls (unless you are exempt). These are UK government requirements, and it is an individual’s responsibility to adhere to. Our staff will be encouraging visitors to comply with these requirements, but please be considerate of others when visiting Canary Wharf.

Our COVID-19 secure system remains in place throughout the shopping malls and public realm. We continue to maintain high standards of cleaning, with a focus on all touchpoints, including door handles, escalators, lift push buttons and within bathrooms and we have set our ventilation systems to maximise the circulation of fresh air through the shopping malls. 

We have also opened a COVID-19 Rapid Test Centre in Cabot Place for those without symptoms.

The free tests are quick and convenient and provide results in under 30 minutes, and we encourage visitors to Canary Wharf to get tested regularly to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. 

We remain in regular contact with our office and retail tenants, as well as Transport for London and Tower Hamlets, to ensure we are all aligned on the measures taken to keep visitors to Canary Wharf safe.
