WatchHouse opens in Canary Wharf – 29.02.24

WatchHouse continues to grow, as it announces the opening of its 18th House – WatchHouse Cabot Place – in the heart of Canary Wharf. This exciting opening is the business’ first in the UK in 2024. WatchHouse Cabot Place marks a significant extension to WatchHouse’s footprint in the capital and reinforces its dedication to bringing Modern Coffee to more communities in the UK.

Located within the vibrant Cabot Place mall, the new WatchHouse boasts a bright green contemporary design that reflects the energy of Canary Wharf while maintaining WatchHouse’s signature style. The space offers a sleek yet inviting ambience, perfect for both casual meetups and focused working coffee meetings designed in collaboration with German designers KBMD out of Berlin.

WatchHouse Cabot Place will feature an extensive menu of specialty coffee offerings, crafted by expert baristas using meticulously sourced beans from around the world. From espresso-based drinks to Rare pour-overs, there will be something to satisfy every coffee enthusiast’s palate with the rarest coffees priced at up to £50 per pour. In addition to outstanding coffee, WatchHouse Cabot Place will also offer a curated selection of Grab & Go breakfast, bakery and lunch options, providing the perfect accompaniment to any coffee experience.

“Opening WatchHouse Cabot Place is a thrilling moment for us as we continue to grow and evolve,” says Roland Horne, founder and CEO of WatchHouse. “Canary Wharf is a business district full of energy. There’s loads going on here outside of the finance sphere, and opening in one of the UK’s iconic buildings is a no-brainer and great milestone. Also worth saying this space is extremely trippy given it’s bright green and mirrored to amplify the senses, which suits me being Irish so close to St Patrick’s Day! Next we press on with the formal launch of WatchHouse 5th Avenue next month – things are getting very interesting indeed as we gather momentum.”

Stuart Fyfe, MD of Retail, Leisure and Hospitality at CWG; “At CWG, we strive to curate vibrant, inviting retail spaces around Canary Wharf with retailers who are passionate about their business. We’re thrilled to welcome the new WatchHouse coffee shop, the latest charming addition to the Wharf’s offerings. The first time I visited their first coffee house in Bermondsey Street I understood the quality of their coffee was at the heart of the business. I know they’ll be a hit with our office customers, visitors and residents alike.”

The opening of WatchHouse Cabot Place represents an exciting new chapter for the business as it continues to expand its presence in London’s dynamic coffee scene. With its commitment to quality, community, and innovation, WatchHouse looks forward to welcoming patrons to its newest location and sharing the joy of Modern Coffee experiences with the Canary Wharf community.
