Canary Wharf Group’s new build-to-rent operator Vertus, announces its launch, and reveals an exclusive look at its first development, 10 George Street. The striking building is the first among three planned build-to-rent developments on the Canary Wharf estate. With access to an exceptional range of amenities, residents at 10 George Street will also benefit from the ability to sign to a tenancy term to suit their needs with flexible deposit options. The studio to three-bedroom apartments at the 327-unit building will be available to rent from early 2020, and the show floor is available for viewings on selected open days. Apartments will start from £1,950 per calendar month.

10 George Street will set a new precedent for build-to-rent developments to follow, creating the ultimate lifestyle for its residents in the heart of Canary Wharf’s new residential district, Wood Wharf. The 37-storey building has been designed by GRID Architects and the striking façade shows the triangular balconies carefully placed, giving the structure a very distinctive character.

The development additionally comprises 6,000 sq. ft. of Vertus Plus social spaces, including lounge, expansive south-facing garden terrace, private event space, and a bar area with automatic winedispensers. Several of the areas will be bookable for private use by residents. The building will also host a private gym studio for residents, run by leading wellness experts Antidote, part of The Health Concierge Group.
