Flip Out to unleash extravaganza for thrill seekers in Canary Wharf
The UK’s most popular indoor adventure park group is investing £3 million in a new thrill seekers’ paradise on the Canary Wharf estate, which will open this winter and debut some brand-new activities.
Flip Out, which is also the fastest-growing family entertainment centres group globally, is opening its 34th park in Cabot Square, and is destined to be a game-changer for adrenaline-fuelled family fun in Canary Wharf.
Encompassing a sprawling 30,000 square feet, this mammoth indoor playground will take over the site previously occupied by the indoor car park. This will give customers direct access from the shopping centre to Flip Out, which will be an exciting addition to the entertainment scene of east London.
It will feature a wide range of activities for thrill seekers of all ages, including Flip Out’s first-ever Super Drift Car Track, which gives adrenaline junkies the chance to take on their friends and race like a pro as they drift and skid their way to glory.
Another first for Flip Out is the racing slide which will give friends and families the chance to challenge themselves to be the fastest slider in London as they race each other to the bottom of the slides.
Meanwhile, the Ninja Tag Playground is the ultimate challenge featuring a sprawling arena brimming with obstacles and tasks designed to test skills and agility as fun lovers take on their friends to race to the end of the playground and emerge victorious in the ultimate game of ninja supremacy.
The new Flip Out will also feature Laser Quest, the most immersive laser tag game yet, which is like stepping into a video game. Teams are pitched against each other in the space-themed arena. It’s the perfect, fun, competitive and exhilarating game to enjoy with friends and family. Children (taller than 1.2m) and adults alike will enjoy stalking the labyrinths, catwalks and mazes, with special effects, music and lights. Guests will score points by zapping opponents and try not to lose points by getting zapped themselves!
A Donut Slide will also be a big feature of Flip Out Canary Wharf; the ultimate thrilling slide with donut-shaped inflatables whizzing down and around the corners of the giant slide.
And you don’t have to be Bukayo Saka to take part in Flip Out’s interactive technology-infused football pitch. It is a fun experience that is perfect for all the family, even those who aren’t massive football fans. Everybody wants to get involved!
Old-school favourites, such as Bumper Cars and Roller Rinks, will all be under the same roof along with Gaming Zone, Climbing Walls, Soft Play and Ball Pits. There will also be themed Party Rooms for Londoners to book out for birthdays.
The Flip Out Gaming Zone is next level for avid gamers with a PS5 Zone, featuring state-of-the-art cabinets loaded with the latest gaming extravaganzas. Gamers are invited to dive into the action and immerse themselves in the virtual world like never before. And that’s not all; the Sega Arcade Zone awaits, with a trove of the latest and greatest games to satiate your gaming desires. There are also rooms to host birthday parties.
And of course, such an incredible indoor adventure experience wouldn’t be complete without a Costa Coffee Express, ensuring that everyone remains energised for the incredible adventures at Flip Out Canary Wharf.
