The Winter Club set to bring seasonal magic to Canary Wharf this winter – 05.11.25

Opening this month, The Winter Club will give guests a new seasonal destination to enjoy in the heart of Canary Wharf, right through until February 2026.

Located on Union Square in Wood Wharf, and created by Urban Playground, the team behind THE CUBE in Canary Wharf, The Winter Club will bring together the Bierhaus, a German-style beer hall with live entertainment, an Instagram-ready Ice Bar, and an alpine-inspired ski Chalet, creating an unforgettable winter experience.

Plunging to a chilly minus 10°C, the themed real-ice Bar will serve guests drinks in ice glasses, whilst they take in the spectacular sculpted designs that surround them. Guests can immerse themselves in the interactive and frosty ice artwork, and capture unforgettable memories against the dazzling icy backdrops. Warm coats and gloves will be provided, and advanced booking to the Ice Bar is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

With a lively winter charm that’s ideal for after-work drinks and gatherings, the Bierhaus welcomes friends, families, and colleagues alike. Guests can enjoy perfectly poured steins of crisp beer, classic cocktails with a seasonal twist, and warming favourites like spiced mulled wine and hot toddies. Live bands, performances and DJ sets will set a vibrant tone, while the warm glow of the hall and German -style long tables will create an atmosphere that’s full of energy, laughter and seasonal cheer.

Tucked away from the buzz of the Bierhaus, the Chalet après-ski bar, will offer a warm and inviting retreat. With rustic alpine-inspired décor, soft lighting and plenty of cosy seating, it’s the perfect spot for relaxed drinks, date nights and catch-ups.

To keep the celebrations going, a selection of food will be on offer, providing a delicious addition to a day or night of drinks, music and good company.

Walk-ins are warmly welcomed at both the Bierhaus and Chalet, whilst larger groups are encouraged to secure their seats with advanced booking and package options, making The Winter Club a great choice for work socials and celebrations.
