Steven Bartlett Kicks Off First in Wharf Talks Programme at Canary Wharf – 20.03.23

  • Canary Wharf Group to host a series of ‘Wharf Talks’ sharing expert insight into modern business
  • Entrepreneur, Diary of a CEO host and Dragon’s Den’s youngest ever panelist Steven Bartlett to hold first expert Q&A, hosted by The Financial Times’ Isabel Berwick

This spring, Canary Wharf Group has partnered with Steven Bartlett to launch the first in its series of ‘Wharf Talks’. The expert-led events will see thought leaders discuss and debate the trends, successes and challenges of modern business – from sustainability and attracting talent to the future of work environments.

On Tuesday 18th April, Canary Wharf’s stunning East Wintergarden will host an inspiring evening with Steven Bartlett where the bestselling author and founder of the Diary of a CEO podcast will share his wisdom on workplace culture.

As the latest panellist to join BBC’s Dragon’s Den, Bartlett will discuss his career history, work life balance and how he’s navigating today’s ever evolving business landscape. Bartlett’s unique approach to business has afforded him a wealth of experience in modern day working with a particular focus on social media, technology and brand building.

The evening will be hosted by Financial Times Work & Careers Editor and Working It Podcast host, Isabel Berwick and the event will provide opportunity for a Q&A with Bartlett at the end.

Attendees are invited to try out Canary Wharf’s rapidly growing choice of bars and restaurants with hundreds to choose from including sustainable steak spot M Restaurant, newly opened Bombay-inspired Dishoom and the floating Hawksmoor restaurant in Wood Wharf.

A limited number of tickets are available in advance for £16.50 from www.seetickets.com and are expected to sell quickly, with all proceeds donated to Canary Wharf Group’s charity partner The Felix Project. Committed to fighting food poverty in London, The Felix Project works to distribute surplus food products from businesses across the capital to a large number of charities, primary schools and holiday programmes so as food can reach those who are vulnerable or in need.

For upcoming ‘Wharf Talks and much more, visitors, workers and residents of Canary Wharf need only download the free Canary Wharf app to check their phone for the latest on upcoming events, discounts for restaurants, retail offers and more. The app also allows users to buy tickets, RSVP and check-in to events as well as providing feedback on all different aspects of the Canary Wharf experience.

Steven Bartlett’s Wharf Talks event will take place on April 18th at 5.45pm.
