SIXT Expands Presence in London with New Canary Wharf Branch Opening – 20.02.23

SIXT UK, one of the world’s leading premium mobility service providers, has today opened its newest location in Canary Wharf London, providing both business and leisure travellers with a premium rental service in the city’s financial district.

This latest branch opening demonstrates the company is continuing to expand operations and market share nationwide, with more to follow. The new branch is strategically placed in London’s highest-earning postcode, offering 24/7 customer service and an extensive fleet of electric and hybrid vehicles as part of the rent, ride, share and SIXT+ subscription models.

In addition to new locations, SIXT has upgraded several existing branches recently including SIXT Inverness, SIXT Wembley, SIXT Birmingham, and SIXT London Stratford with more in the pipeline in 2023. Other branches have relocated to larger locations to better service the increased demand and continue delivering quality customer experience. This was the case with the recent move from Manchester Trafford, which was opened ten years ago, to Manchester Salford, a 14,000 sqft location allowing SIXT to service the wider community.

SIXT continues to drive forward its internationalization strategy and this latest branch opening is evidence of the car rental company’s continued growth. Since 2009, the share of international business increased from less than 30 % to more than 70 %.
