London’s plant-based pioneer is heading east with a bold new take-over of sister restaurant Mallow Canary Wharf, bringing colourful plates, big flavours, and the warm hospitality Mildreds has been serving since 1988 to the buzzing heart of Wood Wharf. With its vibrant, globally inspired menu, Mildreds on the Wharf will serve up its signature dishes both in the restaurant and on its leafy terrace, from creative small plates and burgers to salads, breakfasts and cocktails.
Whether you’re plant-based, flexi, or simply flavour-curious, this is one pop-up you won’t want to miss. In a dramatic new twist, Mildreds on the Wharf has also cooked up a special menu to mark the arrival of the nearby Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre. Choose from fiery small plates, theatrical mains and decadent desserts – all plant-based and priced at £24 for two courses / £32 for three, available pre-theatre from 12pm until 6pm and post theatre from 9:30pm until close.
Highlights include dükk salad with crispy vegan “duck” and mango jeow som dressing, a vegan cheeseburger in a striking beetroot bun and a flame broth with rice noodles and panko tofu, followed by the final feast chocolate cake with sour cherry compote. A limited-edition cocktail menu, inspired by the Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre, will also be available.
Whether you’re grabbing cocktails on the terrace, heading for an early breakfast, or booking dinner before the theatre – make it Mildreds. For those looking for a Mallow fix, the Borough Market restaurant continues to offer its own seasonal and sustainable menu in SE1.
