Meet Your Maker at MADE LONDON, Canary Wharf – 26.02.19

Design and craft fair, MADE LONDON, will return to Canary Wharf this March, showcasing a vast collection of wonderfully designed pieces from over 100 artists. With an inspired range of creations on show, spanning decorations, furnishings and jewellery, MADE LONDON is perfect for anybody searching for their next showpiece. The eclectic mix includes items fashioned from an array of materials, such as ceramics, textiles, woods, leathers and silvers.

Returning for its third year to Canary Wharf, MADE LONDON will once again offer a collection of exclusive items crafted by some of the best makers in the country. The hand rolled, abstract glass designs of British designer Lynne Foster will be on display, alongside the work of French jeweller Marion LeBoutillier, who creates Wabi-sabi Japanese inspired pieces by moulding shapes in a special wax, before casting in silver to finish. Rebecca H Joselyn, renowned for her eye-catching silverware pieces, will also be returning.

The fair will also welcome world-renowned designs from Margo Selby, whose expertise in the art of textiles is woven throughout her current collection. Her vibrant, contemporary textile designs are constructed with a specialist touch from a team of artisan weavers, each one inspired by Selby’s vision and style.

For those in need of a special Mother’s Day gift, look no further than MADE LONDON Canary Wharf. With a selection of unique necklaces, gold rings and precious stones, visitors will have the opportunity to make this year’s present for mum one to remember.

Free to the public, and a firm figure on the craft fair scene, MADE LONDON will showcase an unrivalled selection of homemade designs for four consecutive days.

Lucie Moore, Head of Arts and Events, Canary Wharf Group says: “We are incredibly excited to once again host MADE LONDON, the capital’s finest design and craft fair.  The levels of craftmanship on display are truly exceptional and each designer, new or returning, will be showcasing a wide selection of exquisite works. Each visitor will be able to find a truly special piece perfect for themselves, whether that be a wonderfully designed piece of jewellery or the final furnishing or decoration to finish their home.”
