Life in the clouds: Canary Wharf Group unveils the Sky Lofts show apartments at One Park Drive – 23.08.23

A bespoke collection of new apartments in Canary Wharf are offering residents a taste of life in the clouds.

Located on the 32nd storey of One Park Drive, one of London’s most recognisable buildings, the Sky Lofts feature 1,300 sq ft wraparound terraces, providing breathtaking views of the Estate’s other iconic buildings and onwards to most of the capital’s landmarks.

With its circular, geometric form, One Park Drive is architect Herzog & de Meuron’s first residential project in the UK and one of the most distinctive buildings in London. The building combines three architectural typologies (Bay, Cluster and Loft) to create a unique façade that presents a unified sculptural form.

The Sky Lofts have been designed to maximise the unique shape of the building, with elongated and curved furniture. Other design elements include curved cream boucle sofas, fluted panelled headboards, monolithic stone coffee tables and bespoke feature walls made of slatted timber panels, leather and marble. Each apartment has been dressed in a contemporary style, with a neutral pallet set across natural materials with classic finishes, a combination which creates a soft, intimate and luxurious feel. A curated collection of artworks from around the world complete the apartments.

A prestigious address

One Park Drive offers state-of-the-art amenities designed by GA Design, including a sophisticated entrance lobby with 24-hour concierge, 18-seat cinema room with private bar area, library and lounge on the ground floor.

On the first floor is the residents-only health club, managed by Educated Body. Framed by floor-to-ceiling glazing, the space includes a fully equipped gymnasium suite and studio space, 20-metre swimming pool, sauna and steam room, with a poolside seating area that opens onto a wrap-around terrace overlooking the water.

For leisure, Canary Wharf is already home to an eclectic range of activities, including minigolf, the UK’s fastest electric go-karts at Capital Karts, GoBoats, open water swimming and volleyball, dodgeball and other indoor sports at In2Sports. FairGame, a revolutionary fairground-inspired food and beverage venue, opened last year, whilst this month, Canary Wharf Group will be opening Padium, a premium padel club.

Additionally, residents and visitors benefit from the wider amenities found across Canary Wharf, including 300 shops, the UK’s largest free-to-visit public art collection and over 100 culturally inspired events each year, most of which are free including the popular Winter Lights festival and Festival14. The Estate is also home to a flourishing and diverse food and beverage scene, including Hawksmoor, Dishoom, Mercato Metropolitano, Patty&Bun, Emilia’s Crafted Pasta and Mallow.

Melanie Conway, Director of Residential Sales at Canary Wharf Group, said: “The Sky Lofts are designed for those who like to live high in the sky, offering the privacy and tranquillity that such height brings. From the 32nd storey the city streets stretch out peacefully below, whilst the private terraces boast views that have to be seen to be believed. Internally they’ve been designed to maximise the curved shape of the building, with unique furniture and art pieces throughout. They’re undoubtedly some of the most impressive homes built to date on the Canary Wharf estate.”

Prices starting in One Park Drive from £875,000.
