Have a Cracking Easter at Canary Wharf – 04.04.2017

From Monday 10 to Thursday 13 April, hop into Easter at Canary Wharf, with a series of free Easter activities taking place for all the family to enjoy. With over 300 shops, bars and restaurants there are plenty of ways to celebrate Easter at Canary Wharf.

EASTER EGG TREASURE TRAIL

Bounce along and explore the Canary Wharf Estate to find all five of our vibrant Easter Eggs dotted throughout our shopping malls. Simply note down the colour of each egg and head to the Easter trike at Jubilee Place Lower Mall to claim your prize – a bespoke Canary Wharf gold chocolate coin!

CHILDREN’S EASTER WORKSHOP

Once you’ve tackled the trail, it’s time to hop your way over to the Easter bunny ears workshop at Jubilee Place. Here children are invited to create and design their very own Easter bunny ears headband. The workshop will be open from 11am – 5pm.

EGGCELLENT GIFTS

Continue the celebrations with a visit to Hotel Chocolat in Canada Place and opt for their take on the Easter egg; a milk egg sandwhich! For something a little more traditional, head over to Charbonnel et Walker in Cabot Place, where you’ll find their classic milk Easter eggs filled with a variety of flavoursome treats.

You’ll also find “Big Bertha”, one of Charbonnel’s largest Easter eggs up for sale weighing an astounding 17 pounds, hand-made from their finest, classic plain English chocolate. Looking to really spoil your loved ones this Easter? Visit Godiva in Jubilee Place for their range of Easter Extravanganza Hampers.

EGGPLOSIVE FLAVOURS

With the gifting completed, why not make your way over to one of the hundreds of shops, bars and restaurants on the Estate for a delicious Easter family meal. Be sure to visit Franco Manca for their delicious sourdough pizza in Crossrail Place or Chai Ki situated just next door for an injection of spice.

To make the weekend extra special, kids can eat for free at Tom’s Kitchen in Westferry Circus, The Parlour in Canada Square Park and Jamie’s Italian in Churchill Place. Iberica is also offering free Olé Kids Spanish workshops, while their parents enjoy tapas dishes at the restaurant in Cabot Square. Finish the day with a delicious espresso at one of our many coffee shops across the Estate, including Notes in Crossrail Place and Le Pain Quotidien in Jubilee Place.

EGGSTRA-SPECIAL SHOPPING

While doing your Easter food shopping at Waitrose, Food, Fashion and Home in Canada Place, enjoy a free tasting of Heston’s Eggstraordinary Dippy Easter Egg, hot cross buns and more. Or enter the Easter competition in-store from 10 – 17 April. Each entrant receives a free chocolate (or a healthy option) and will be entered into a draw to win for one of 10 family day pass to a National Trust property.

Core opening hours over the bank holiday weekend at Canary Wharf are from 11am to 6pm, however please check with individual shops, cafes, bars and restaurants for their respective store openings. Please note that the shopping malls will be closed on Sunday 16th April.
