Dublin-based wealth management firm GillenMarkets has been named as the new title sponsor of the 2022 Canary Wharf Squash Classic, which will take place at London’s famous East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf between Sunday 13 – Friday 18 March 2022.
This year’s event will be rebranded as the GillenMarkets Canary Wharf Squash Classic and will see a number of the world’s top players – including soon-to-be World No.1 and defending champion Paul Coll – battle it out for one of the most coveted trophies on the PSA World Tour.
“We are delighted to welcome GillenMarkets as our new title sponsors,” said Tournament Director Tim Garner.
“The Canary Wharf Squash Classic has had a history of working with a number of well-regarded sponsors ever since the tournament first began in 2004 and GillenMarkets is a fantastic addition to our portfolio.
“With thousands of people watching the event in person throughout the week – as well as millions tuning in across linear TV and social media – we’re pleased to give GillenMarkets extensive visibility through on-court branding and look forward to working with them ahead of what promises to be one of the most exciting instalments of the Canary Wharf Squash Classic ever.”
GillenMarkets Founder Rory Gillen said: “It’s a privilege to be involved with such an iconic and well-run event in the PSA World Tour calendar.”
The line-up for the 2022 GillenMarkets Canary Wharf Squash Classic will be revealed on Wednesday February 16. In the meantime, fans can stay up-to-date with the latest news on the tournament by visiting the event’s official website or follow the Canary Wharf Squash Classic on Twitter.
