Fall in Love with Reading Again at the Short Story Stations – 11.02.25

  • The Canary Wharf Short Story Stations partner with Penguin Books for a week of love filled literature
  • Stories include the international bestseller Greta & Valdin by Rebecca K Reilly and Find Love by acclaimed love expert and host of #1 podcast “We need to Talk” Paul Brunson

Over the most romantic week of the year, Canary Wharf and Penguin Books are encouraging readers to fall in love with reading again.

Until Sunday 16 February, a Penguin-curated selection of love-themed literature will take over the Canary Wharf Short Story Stations, allowing readers to print and read extracts from top selling authors for free.

Nestled in the serene oasis of Crossrail Place Roof Garden and in Jubilee Mall, readers can find 1, 3 or 5-minute extracts from Natasha Lunn’s Conversations on Love, Rebecca K Reilly’s Greta & Valdin and Paul Brunson’s Find Love ready to be printed and enjoyed.

A unique concept and the first in the UK, Canary Wharf’s Short Story Stations put fiction at the fingertips of on-the-go Londoners.  The stories are printed, touch free, on demand using eco-friendly papyrus paper and do not require ink or cartridges, providing minutes of fictitious distraction to the thousands of people passing through each day.

Author of Greta & Valdin Rebecca K Reilly said, “I’m very happy to be involved with the Canary Wharf Short Story Stations project and that they are collaborating with Penguin Books. I have seen these machines in other countries and never thought that I would have my own work be a part of them—it’s a great initiative to bring people something free to do on their way to wherever they’re going and get people reading.”
