The line transforms public transport capacity and reduces journey times adding capacity for up to 342,000 more passengers every day. It will connect Canary Wharf to Liverpool Street in 6 minutes, Paddington in 16 minutes and Heathrow Airport in 39 minutes. Trains will run from Canary Wharf west to Paddington and east to Abbey Wood. In total, an extra 1.5 million will be able to get to Canary Wharf within 45 minutes

The Elizabeth line will also reduce pressure on other lines in London and get you to Canary Wharf and home more quickly.

This state-of-the-art new line is an incredible engineering achievement and Canary Wharf Group is proud to have played its part, delivering the spectacular Canary Wharf station building with new restaurants, bars and cafes and one of London’s largest green roof gardens.”
