Caravan brings their ‘Well Travelled’ All Day Dining, Speciality Coffee and Brunch to Canary Wharf this February – 31.01.22

Located in the heart of Canary Wharf, sitting alongside Konstantin Grcic’s iconic ‘Six Public Clocks’, Caravan Canary Wharf brings all day dining to this bustling business and residential district.

Terrazzo, natural stone and breeze block create a dining and bar space that is stripped back, and sun drenched, serving Caravan’s signature well-travelled food and drink menus, plus, their own freshly roasted craft coffee. Open all day from 7am Monday 7 February for breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner and everything in between. Caravan welcomes guests for coffee, cocktails, private hire and relaxed vibes, any time!

The menus at Caravan Canary Wharf will combine signature favourites, combining flavours from around the world, inspired by a lifetime of travel. From 7am weekdays, speciality coffee from Caravan Coffee Roasters will feature alongside fresh juices and ferments, to go with a breakfast menu that will brighten up every working morning.  At the weekends, Caravan’s famous brunch will be served, including that kimchi pancake with pork belly, gochujang ketchup and fried egg. And, in the evenings, there’s delicious small plates, grains and bowls, larger plates such as pan-fried sea bass with coconut red curry, plus pizzas and desserts. All available with cocktails!

The cocktail programme includes Caravan’s house classics such as espresso martini and coffee negroni, made with Caravan Coffee Roasters’ single origin coffee infusion.

Laura Harper-Hinton, Caravan Co-Founder & Creative Director, designed the venue and says, “We are super excited to be bringing our ‘well-travelled’ all day menus and speciality coffee to Canary Wharf.”

Stuart Fyfe, Managing Director Retail Leasing at Canary Wharf says, “We have long admired Caravan’s relaxed all day coffee, brunch and dining since they first opened in Exmouth Market. With many new residents having moved to the Canary Wharf area recently they will be a hugely popular addition.   We all look forward to sampling their renowned coffee, their brunches during week and at weekends and enjoying a cocktail or two in the evening

About Caravan Restaurants

Caravan, restaurant, bar and coffee roastery, opened on Exmouth Market in 2010. Bringing the antipodean ‘well -travelled’ all-day dining and coffee culture to the UK, Caravan’s ethos is bold flavours, vibrant and healthy ingredients, and global influences with relaxed and approachable service.

The ever-changing food and drink menus draw inspiration from the founding trio’s travels around the world, using some of the best local and seasonal produce.

Following the success of the Exmouth Market site, Caravan was the first restaurant to open on the Granary Square development in King’s Cross in August 2012, also home to Caravan Coffee Roasters.

Subsequent restaurants have opened in Bankside, the City (Bloomberg Arcade) and Fitzrovia, plus the opening of Vardo in Chelsea.

Many of the dishes served across all Caravan restaurant sites can be found in their cookbook, ‘Caravan: Dining All Day’ (Vintage Books).
