A brand-new arts festival is coming to London this summer at Canary Wharf’s Festival14. Taking place from Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th July, festivalgoers will be spoilt for choice with a huge line up of music, theatre, comedy, dance and kids’ activities.

Most of the acts will be free to attend and will transform the Wharf’s numerous parks, plazas and open spaces as they host a stunning line up of artists and performers from across the world. The full programme will be announced at the start of June.

Music fans should head to Canada Square Park where the event’s main stage will offer up a huge, diverse programme of free music. All tastes are catered to with music from new and emerging talents, world famous DJs, classical music, jazz and soul artists and a gospel choir.

The music will continue at Jubilee Park where some of the capital’s best busking talent will be playing live, as part of Canary Wharf’s partnership with Busk in London.

Those looking for some theatre will find that Westferry Circus has been transformed into an intimate outdoor theatre featuring Shakespearean plays, evening comedy and a family rave – while cabaret, comedy and storytelling can be found at Crossrail Place Roof Garden.

When it’s time to refuel, there will be a street food market running daily on Montgomery Square, offering a range of delicious dishes from around the world. Guests can also head to one of Canary Wharf’s many bars, restaurants and cafes, some of which will be running special offers over the festival weekend.

Most of the events are free to attend on a first come first served basis. Some events are ticketed so festivalgoers are encouraged to check out the full programme beforehand, which will be announced in June.
