French designer eyewear brand, bloobloom, will be opening a new location on Saturday 24 June at Canada Place in Canary Wharf. The new store will have two eye examination rooms and covers a spacious 700 sq ft. It will include four pillars with an island in the middle of the store where the glasses will be displayed. The independent brand will continue to bring eyewear innovation to consumers across London at affordable prices.
The store will house bloobloom’s full collection of spectacles and sunglasses and will offer customers the full experience from walk-in eye examinations with in-house opticians, adjustment and repair services as well as personalised style advice. bloobloom offers a range of women’s and men’s glasses with popular styles from Traveller, to Daydreamer, to Londoner and Designer. All glasses are handcrafted frames and made from sustainable materials. The interiors are created with a cross texture which makes the store pop and sets it aside from the other bloobloom stores.
Abbas Manai, Co-Founder at bloobloom says, “Canary Wharf is a new and exciting adventure for bloobloom. The premier retail destination is an excellent location for bloobloom’s growing store portfolio and we are looking forward to seeing how the brand resonates with the area’s visitors”
Prices start from £99, and keeping with the ethos the bloobloom store will be transparent about the true cost of the glasses and the markup when purchased.
bloobloom was founded by Abbas and Fares Manai in 2018. For every purchase made, a pair of glasses is donated to one of the world’s 2.5 billion people in need who don’t have access to eyecare as part of the brands ‘Pair for a Pair’ scheme. The ‘Pay What You Can’ loyalty scheme offers customers the choice to choose their second pair of spectacles or sunglasses from a tiered system.
The five new store openings are the start of a wider expansion for the brand across the United Kingdom, which is set as part of a backdrop of strong growth.

About boobloom
bloobloom was started because its founders didn’t want to choose between looking after themselves and looking out for others.
bloobloom sees eyewear afresh – to do it better – and creates a brand they themselves would buy. Because bloobloom values honesty, they relish buying from similar souls, from people who want to stand for something. Like the small-scale craftsman who handmakes pieces with care in his workshop, or the independent grower who lovingly harvests his own patch of land. Why not be the same with glasses?
bloobloom created its Pair for a Pair programme to have a positive impact on people who genuinely need it. Being open about its aims, from the start, is how the business commits to doing things the right way. With customers’ support – and of course, wearing truly fabulous glasses.
