Canary Wharf Residential is launching its hugely successful residential development 10 Park Drive in Hong Kong for the first time. Recently named the UK’s Best Apartment scheme, as voted for by the acclaimed property portal WhatHouse, this striking Stanton Williams-designed 345-unit scheme is fully completed, with only 70 two and three-bedroom apartments remaining. Prices for the last available properties start from £635,000.
10 Park Drive, the first private sale residential building to open in Canary Wharf, will be exhibited at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th January 2021 from 11am to 6pm. Attendance is by appointment only and can be reserved online through the sales agents Knight Frank and CBRE.
Individuals who buy an apartment and exchange before the 31st March this year will benefit from the UK stamp duty holiday, as well as avoiding the increased 2% charge that is due to be introduced at this time for overseas buyers.
Commenting on 10 Park Drive’s Hong Kong debut, Brian De’ath, Director of Residential Sales at Canary Wharf Group, said: “This is the first time 10 Park Drive has been sold in Hong Kong and we are excited to introduce this scheme to prospective purchasers. The first private sale building to open its doors in Canary Wharf was a momentous occasion for us and this building will always have a special place in London’s history. There are only a few apartments remaining, so this really is the first and last chance for many buyers here to own a part of this incredible building.”
Ryan Black, Head of International Project Sales at Hong Kong Knight Frank, commented: “It is an incredibly interesting time to be launching such a highly regarded completed project to the Hong Kong market. Several factors such as BNO passport uptake, and the SDLT holiday make this a very exciting opportunity for Hong Kong investors. More pertinently, the quality of development that Canary Wharf Group have achieved with 10 Park Drive we believe will be the key driver for Hong Kong buyers’ uptake on the remaining units.”
Ludo Downey, Head of International Project Marketing at CBRE Hong Kong, added: “CBRE are very excited to be exhibiting 10 Park Drive in Hong Kong for the first time, this scheme is undoubtedly one of the stand-out developments in Canary Wharf. As a location with its inter connectivity, malls, offices and eateries alongside well-maintained modern apartments, Canary Wharf boasts a truly international feel ensuring it is a regular go to for many Hong Kong buyers. With the added benefit of now being able to see such high quality, completed product, we expect this to be a very popular choice for our investors.”
Recently, three fully dressed show-apartments, situated within 10 Park Drive, have opened to provide interested buyers an opportunity to get a feel for life at the development. Designed by award-winning interior specialists, Make Architects, the apartments have been beautifully presented to maximise the natural light and spectacular views out across the water and boardwalks of Canary Wharf’s new district, Wood Wharf.
Each apartment features an open-plan kitchen and living space that benefit from outstanding views over London making this the centre of the home. Marble inspired vanity blocks can be found in the bathrooms that have almost a spa-like feel to them.
Purchasers at 10 Park Drive will benefit from access to a serene, landscaped sky terrace situated on the 13th floor, where careful planting creates a unique space for relaxing or entertaining. They will also have access to the private Residents Club, which has been contemporarily designed with intimate seating areas and a library, which acts as a perfect place to work or share a coffee with friends. Residents will be able to hire the sky terrace, dining room and Residents Club for special private events.
In addition, 10 Park Drive homeowners will benefit from exclusive membership to a residents’ only section of a brand-new 40,000 sq. ft. Third Space health club, located in Wood Wharf. Alongside a swimming pool, the club will include a state-of-the-art gym, exercise area, jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms, as well as a studio for classes and private treatment rooms.
Welcoming its first residents in summer 2020, Wood Wharf, Canary Wharf’s new district and home of 10 Park Drive, will comprise up to 3,600 new homes, c.350,000 sq. ft. retail space, over nine acres of public spaces, gardens, artwork and parks once fully complete. It will be an oasis of calm in the city, whilst also being one of the most well-connected districts in Europe, with direct access to the Jubilee Line (connecting to central and west London), Docklands Light Railway (connecting to the City of London and London City Airport) and Crossrail (the City, Central London and Heathrow Airport), which is set to fully open in 2022.
