Filming & Photography

Canary Wharf’s architecture, iconic buildings, malls and landscaped open areas make it a popular location for filming and professional photography.

However, the Estate is privately owned by Canary Wharf Group and, as owners of the Estate, we have a duty to ensure that any activity that takes place there including filming and photography is safe, carries the correct insurance, minimises disruption and does not compromise security.

Stay Safe

Recent events in the UK and around the world remind us all of the terrorist threat we face. The current threat level for international terrorism in the UK is SUBSTANTIAL. This means an attack is likely.

Police and security agencies are working tirelessly to protect the public, but it is also important that communities remain vigilant and aware of how to protect themselves if the need arises.

In the event of a major incident on the Estate, we follow the guidance from the National Police Chiefs Council.

If you see anything that concerns you then please speak to one of our Security staff, call the Estate Control Centre on 020 7418 2606 or email estate.controlcentre@canarywharf.com

Trespass Injunction

On 1 March 2018, an order was made in the High Court of Justice prohibiting anyone from entering or remaining on the Canary Wharf Estate without permission.

Anyone in breach of this injunction will be in contempt of court and may be imprisoned, fined, or have their assets seized on.
