Canary Wharf Group is proud to announce 10 Park Drive has been awarded a Gold award for Best Apartment Scheme at the 40th annual WhatHouse? Awards. The landmark building, designed by internationally renowned architects, Stanton Williams and with interiors by Make Architects, was the first residential building to launch Canary Wharf’s new district, Wood Wharf.
The What House Awards recognise the very best new homes across the UK, attracting some of the biggest names in housebuilding and in each category, winners received a Gold, Silver or Bronze award.
For the Best Apartment Scheme award, the panel of judges carried out a rigorous assessment taking into consideration the internal layout, architectural innovation, price range and overall quality of the scheme. The judges highlighted the apartments’ exceptional natural light and sleek design looking out onto the picturesque boardwalks and waterfronts below, as well as the exceptional amenities on offer, including the Sky Terrace, resident’s club and exclusive use of a state-of-the-art Third Space fitness centre.
Brian De’ath, Director of Residential Sales at Canary Wharf Group said, “At 10 Park Drive we set out to create an exceptional building that captured the spirit of the estate with beautifully designed apartments, marking an exciting new chapter at Wood Wharf, Canary Wharf’s new district.
“It is an outstanding achievement to receive a Gold award at this year’s WhatHouse? Awards, a real testament to all the hard work and ingenuity of our teams in a year like no other.”
Rising to 42 storeys, 10 Park Drive comprises 74 studios, 115 one-bedroom apartments, 141 two-bedroom and 15 three-bedroom apartments, all offering extraordinary views of the city and the ever-changing river.
