Britain’s top professional cyclists are in Canary Wharf on Thursday 16 June for the grand final of the Halfords Tour Series.

Following a testing two months of competitions, the country’s ten best cycling teams will battle it out in the heart of London in the final leg of this gladiatorial contest. Amongst those taking part in the race will be Olympic Gold Medallist Ed Clancy and Tour De France stage winner Magnus Backstedt, who recently came out of retirement to race for the UK Youth team.

The grand final of the Halfords Tour Series is the latest in a stellar line-up of sporting events taking place at Canary Wharf this summer. With the London 2012 Olympics drawing ever closer, this exhilarating event is the perfect opportunity to get a taste of the sporting atmosphere.

Amateur cyclists will get a slice of the action in the Canary Wharf Corporate Grand Prix, which will see Canary Wharf’s biggest corporate names vie for victory.
