• To provide general assistance with organising and co-ordinating training events for staff. This includes: arranging dates, venues, room layout, course materials and hiring any necessary equipment. Arranging overnight accommodation for external trainers and co-ordinating the appropriate catering requirements.
• Ensure that all training enrolments are received via Workday with the appropriate authorisation obtained.
• Co-ordinate joining instructions for all courses including sending meeting invitations for in-house courses.
• To greet trainer and delegates on arrival at training courses and provide clear instructions for use of facilities.
• Assist in processing and coding invoices via Yardi, ensuring accurate financial paperwork is recorded and raise purchase orders.
• Assist and maintain an accurate record of staff training and development needs identified.
• Ensure specific courses with expiry dates are kept updated and organised in advance.
• Provide reports to ensure staff are completing online learning
• Receive and distribute accurate training course certificates and scan/file away copies.
• Assist with the data input of the evaluation forms for courses
• To answer the telephone in a professional and courteous manner and process messages.
• Assist the Work Experience scheme within the People & Development team. Liaise with other departments regarding the students on placement.
• General and ad hoc organisational duties and projects as directed by the Associate Director – Learning & Skills.

• A minimum of one year’s experience in an administration role is essential.
• Part CIPD qualified would be an advantage.
• Familiar with Learning Management Systems and e-learning platforms is desirable.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Flexible, organised and good timekeeping is essential.
• Must be a team player with a willingness to help others.
• A positive and helpful attitude towards work is essential.

• Protect the environment and reduce our environmental impacts through reducing energy use and minimising waste produced onsite. Staff should adhere to the procedures in our environmental management system. Relevant documents are located on SharePoint.

Salary: £25-£28k
