Queues in Canary Wharf as First Apartments at 10 Park Drive go on Sale

  • Eager buyers queue outside before sales officially launch
  • Almost 100 prospective buyers waited outside the Marketing Suite in Jubilee Place, Canary Wharf
  • Apartments at 10 Park Drive went on sale for the first time yesterday – with UK buyers given the first opportunity to purchase the homes

Almost 100 eager buyers queued in Canary Wharf yesterday in order to secure one of the very first apartments to be built in the famous London district. The demand was for the prestigious new address 10 Park Drive, Canary Wharf Group’s first ever residential development.

The building, designed by award winning architects, Stanton Williams, will enable people to live on the Canary Wharf Estate for the first time. The new homes at 10 Park Drive are available to UK-based buyers with 345 apartments currently on sale, with prices starting from £395,000 for a studio.

The brand new residential address, 10 Park Drive, comprises a mid-rise 13 storey element which adjoins a 42 storey tower that embraces the uninterrupted views towards the south, east, and west including the O2, Canary Wharf’s public parks and the river.

The development, which will include 74 studios, 115 one-bedroom apartments, 141 two-bedroom apartments and 15 three-bedroom apartments, is anticipated to complete in 2019. Residents at Canary Wharf will also become members of a stunning new health and fitness club, which will include a swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gym and exercise area, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and a studio for regular pilates, stretch, yoga and related fitness classes.
