Devon Malcolm, one of England’s fastest ever-bowlers is promising to “bounce some bankers,” “stump some lawyers” and subject journalists to some “chin-music” in the Canary Wharf Cricket Challenge on 19 May.

Concertina cricket nets will be set up in the heart of Canary Wharf, with the UK’s largest skyscrapers forming a spectacular backdrop to the cricket action.

The event held in the heart of London’s famous business and shopping district is raising awareness for the Johnjac Cricket Supplies ‘Concertina’ cricket net system and the Cricket Foundation charity campaign, Chance to Shine, supported by Brit Insurance. Chance to Shine is the biggest single school sport development programme ever undertaken in Britain.
