Assistant Engineering Surveyor

Are you a recent graduate with some experience working on large scale, fast track construction projects within a contracting or developer organisation?

Do you hold a relevant formal qualification i.e. Surveying or Engineering degree or a HND (as a minimum)?

Are you a member of a Professional Surveying Institution or are actively working towards membership. e.g. RICS, ICES, with a commitment to continual professional development?

Do you possess a practical, proactive and problem solving approach to surveying in difficult conditions, and under tight time frames?

Are you seeking challenges with a Construction Management or Design and Build working environment working closely with the project team to develop innovative solutions on fast track projects?

Then a position with Canary Wharf Contractors Ltd (CWCL) could be the ideal opportunity for you. CWCL is Canary Wharf Group’s project delivery arm and has been responsible for managing the design and construction of the office buildings, retail malls and associated infrastructure that make up the Canary Wharf estate.

CWCL is currently working on a number of major projects on the South Bank and on the Canary Wharf Estate, all of which are at different stages of planning and construction.

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Engineering Surveyor. Working with the Engineering Surveyor and project team, you will provide surveying services throughout all phases of the project to achieve the project goals and objectives.
